Artists

We entrusted our illustrations to outstanding Polish female and male artists. They created beautiful, captivating works filled with plenty of fascinating stories to discover.

Karol Banach

Illustrator and graphic artist with over ten years of experience, hailing from the seaside. He creates illustrations that resemble small worlds – full of humorous characters, shapes, and patterns, saturated with bold colors. He effortlessly transfers them onto various surfaces – from packaging to murals – and takes great joy in the process. Fascinated with the image as such, he is a pattern enthusiast who loves to surround himself with aesthetically pleasing, eye-catching objects. In his free time, he spends hours with Lego and cycling, which brings a touch of playfulness and fresh energy to his work. For him, cycling is not only a way to step away from the screen but also an effective method to clear his mind and find new ideas. He has collaborated with brands such as Spotify, Coca-Cola, Adobe, Uber, WWF, Snapchat, Dropbox, Ikea, Mastercard, The New York Times, Huawei, American Express, and The Washington Post. You can view Karol’s works by clicking this link.

Marta Bazan

Engineering turned out to be too serious, and marketing too pushy, so returning to teenage passions was a perfect choice. Marta is an illustrator who loves colors, shapes, lines, and patterns. She creates lighthearted illustrations filled with an unlimited palette of hues. In everyday life, she values moderation, but in her illustrations, the most important things are countless details, colors, and light. She enjoys drawing playful characters, architecture, and still lifes. Her goal is to bring smiles and lift the spirits of her audience, both young and old. She is intensively developing her skills to get closer to perfection—that is, childlike imagination and lightness. She primarily works with traditional techniques, with a few exceptions, occasionally swapping gouache for a tablet. Increasingly, she reaches for markers or colored pencils, which give her even more freedom and fun with form and texture. She loves retro book and magazine illustrations, but in reality, she finds most of her inspiration in everyday life, from randomly encountered people, colorful fashion, travels, and nature. When she’s not drawing, you can find her strolling through Warsaw’s parks with her red-haired dog (whom she sneakily included in the Figgle puzzles). You can view Marta’s works here here

Przemek Sokołowski

A graphic designer and illustrator from Białystok (born 1989). He studied architecture but began focusing seriously on graphic design in 2017, a decision he considers the best of his life. He mainly creates posters and illustrations for various events, but also takes on projects involving branding, packaging, and label design. His work is inspired by scenes from everyday life, often given a slightly surreal or abstract twist. Books, music, and cinema also strongly influence his imagination. He loves nature, yet his work also reflects urban influences. He is fascinated by color and increasingly incorporates typography and lettering into his graphics. He hopes to create more editorial illustrations, explore designing book or album covers, and eventually try animation, as he finds it exciting to see his work come to life. Adrian Wilczyński

Born in 1995, he is a self-taught illustrator. Adrian’s style most often aligns with children’s illustration, though he is passionate about exploring new creative directions and avoids being “boxed in” at all costs. He has been pursuing his artistic ambitions since 2018, starting out as a local tattoo artist. At the time, he found himself more drawn to designing new patterns than to tattooing itself, so the shift toward illustration came quite naturally—helped along a bit by the pandemic in 2020. Since changing career paths, Adrian has created illustrations for posters, digital screens, and, most importantly, books for young readers. He sees children’s illustration as a perfect opportunity to deliberately break rules and play freely with form. In his free time, he enjoys long walks with his dog, Alma, watching good films, and playing video games—both solo and with friends. Looking ahead, he hopes to become more involved in industry events and even start breeding Persian Greyhounds. You can view Adrian’s work by clicking this link.
